Polly was one of my roommates when we all attended Hinds. Due to a shortage of space we all lived together in a renovated barracks. We loved it and had some really good times. She was one of the most precious people I have ever known. It was my good fortune to see her and spend time with her at a recent 50+ reunion. I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that God will be with you during the difficult days ahead. Joanne Carpenter McNair (Bay Springs, Ms)

Polly was my golf coach for a brief time at Hinds and then later we played many times together at the municipal course in Jackson with the Capitol Ladies Golf Association and elsewhere. She was a great lady and I am so glad she was a part of my life. I never saw her without a smile on her face and she was always so encouraging to me and anyone else who crossed her path. I will miss her greatly!

I had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Rabalais when she and her husband purchased new Raleigh bicycles from my store, The Bike Rack, during the mid-1970's. She was a sweet, thoughtful, and spirit filled person. God Bless her Soul.

To all who knew Mrs.Polly Rabalais, she will be dearly missed. The world is less a beautiful, loving, and awesome lady! Unique, caring, and talented, and never1to judge others. Always willing to help. While I could write a book a/b her pleasant nature and her remarkable life, I will leave u w/ this: AS MUCH AS SHE LOVED, SHE ...WAS LOVED. AND HER LIFE WILL CONTINUE THROUGH ALL WHO HAD A CHANCE TO EXPERIENCE THE SPARKLE N HER EYES!

Polly – A bright star has been dimmed. Although heaven is better for her presence, all of us have lost a truly wonderful friend. Her talent and her devotion in all that she did will forever be missed by those of us who knew and loved her.
May her eternal peace be a reward for all she was and all she did on her far-too -short time with us. We can only hope that our own contributions may provide a pathway to a time when we can again join with her

I met Polly several years ago at our excercise class at the Clinton Healthplex--such an inspiring and fun person! She helped take the "work" out of working out. Always a smile, always upbeat and encouraging through her own example. She finally coerced another woman and me to try golf--met us at the driving range, took us to Hinds to try a few holes. Even then she kept a good attitude! And she talked so happily and proudly of her children and grandchildren. My sympathy to you all.

Polly Rabalias was a lovely lady and friend. I worked with her for many years in connection with MAHPERD and shared many memories as former W girls. She and Mike were wonderful people; I cherish the memories of our friendship and conversations.
Condolences and prayers for the family and many friends. A gentle soul has gone home. May God provide you strength and comfort.

What a wonderful Christian, teacher and friend your mother was. I taught with Polly and Mike at Hinds for 25 years and shared friendship with their friends Margaret, Aubrey and Ella Lucas. Her sweet smile and bubbly personality will be greatly missed by all those with whom she shared her life. Mary Lou Lott, Raymond (now living in Memphis)

I had Mrs. Rabalais for golf when I went to Hinds back in 77. She was one of my top 3 teachers from elementary to college. I loved being in her class and still remember a lot of what she taught me. She called me a joker because I made a joke of her "How do you address the ball?" I answered, "Hi, ball." I will always remember her. My condolences.

I had the pleasure of playing golf with Polly for several years at Municipal with the Capital Ladies Golf Association and she always had a smile on her face. Regardless of the weather conditions you never heard her complain, she was just glad to be at the course with the ladies. I will truly miss her. Her family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
