Services for Mrs. Mildred Beatrice Edmonds will be held Saturday at 1pm at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel in DeKalb with Rev. Raymond Ray Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Scooba. Mrs. Edmonds, 87, of the Wahalak Community in Scooba, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the Mississippi Care Center in DeKalb. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by sons, Larry P. Edmonds and his wife Lisa of Scooba, MS and Carl Dell Clark of Florence, MS, sister, Brylene Ann Goodin, grandchildren, David, Daron and Jessica Clark , Bradley Edmonds and four (4) great grandchildren.
Mrs. Edmonds was preceded in death by her parents, Edward J. and Velma Renea Nance, husbands, Jesse Clark and Willie Edmonds, son, Darvis Clark, brothers Roe Nance, Odell Nance and Royce Nance.
Pallbearers will be Daron Clark, David Clark, Chuck Sellers, Jonathan Sellers, Timothy Oakes and Johnny West. Honorary Pallbearer will be Gary Wigington.
Visitation will be Friday from 5pm to 7pm at Stephens Funeral Home of DeKalb.
