Wanzie Sellers, age 87, passed from this life into the next on July 10, 2011. She was a long-time resident of Raymond, Mississippi, and a member of Hinds Independent Methodist Church. Wanzie was a devoted wife to her husband Loyd for 68 years and a loving mother to four children. Five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren were blessed to call her 'Nanny'.
Wanzie loved to work in her garden and enjoyed nothing more than sharing her vegetables with friends and family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a positive outlook on life.
Wanzie was preceded in death by son Jimmy Sellers, and grandson Bill Sellers. She is survived by her husband Loyd Sellers, daughter Kathryn Gore (Gerald), sons Randall Sellers (Linda) and Bradley Sellers (Dolores), four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and more friends than can be counted. Nanny, you will never be forgotten.
