Joseph G. Fleming, Sr., age 90 of Evergreen Park, IL, Ret. WW II Naval officer and member of Naval Reserve through 1967 at rest on July 19, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie nee McGarigle; loving father of Joseph, Jr. (Mickie), Peggy (Jack) Gannon, Patricia (Joel) Goler, Michael (Barb) and Stephen (Patti); cherished grandfather of Shannon (Chad) McNeil, Katie Fleming, Matthew Gannon, Kevin Gannon, Alisa Goler, Brendan Goler, Meghan (Scott) Panozzo, Bridget Fleming, Michael Fleming, and Morgan Fleming; great-grandfather of Madison McNeil; brother of the late John "Buzz" R. (Rita Jean) Fleming; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Retired CPS teacher of 43 years of service. Active member of the Chicago Teacher's Union. Visitation Friday 3p.m. -9p.m. at Kenny Brothers Funeral Directors 3600 W. 95th Street Evergreen Park, IL Funeral Saturday 10:00 a.m. Mass at Queen of Martyrs Church.
