Robert M. "Bob" Plouhar, age 74, was born on August 25, 1936 and passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Mercy Hospital. Bob married the former, Barbara Stacey on October 29, 1955 and she survives, along with two children, Cheryl (Rob) Cary and Robert (Kyle) Plouhar II; three grandchildren, Ryan Warder, Taylor Plouhar and Jerry (Amanda) Firehammer and four great-grandchildren; his devoted mother, Caroline Larsen; brothers, Frank (Bev) Plouhar, John (Kim) Plouhar, Mike (Eileen) Plouhar and Larry (Lynn) Larsen; sister in law, Sharon Plouhar. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Plouhar. Bob was an avid perch fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors, and enjoyed his winters in Florida. He was a veteran of the United States Army and member of the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion, Lithuanian Club and the Eagles. Bob owned Modern Draught Beer and sold for ExPar. After retirement in 2002 he and Barbara retired to the Manistee area. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and private family services have been held.
