Dorothy W. Thomas, 87, of Roswell, GA, formerly of Medina, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in Lewisburg, PA.
Born on January 4, 1924, in Medina, NY, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Gladys (LeVan) Walters.
Dorothy grew up in Medina and attended the University of Michigan, where she was a Tri Delta. She traveled extensively and enjoyed summering in Maine
.
Dorothy is survived by her four children, Susan (Russ) Wood of Sodus Point, NY, Tudor (Alicia) Thomas of Lewisburg, PA, Judy (Robert) Peters of Syracuse, NY and Gayle Thomas of Marietta, GA. Nine grandchildren: Barb (Don) Danks, Deb (Brian) Lange, Tracie (Kevin) DeYoung,
Tudor Thomas, William Thomas, Zachary Thomas, Kristen Peters, Christopher Peters and Anna Thomas. Also six great-grandchildren.
Dorothy is predeceased by her husband, Dr. Tudor Thomas and a sister, Joan W. Hood.
There are no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorials may be made in her name to a charity of one's choice.
