Lillian Ethel Golding Lucius, 83, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday, October 6, at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Jackson with interment in Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9 AM - 12 Noon Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lucius, an active member of Broadmoor Baptist Church for many years, was born in Lodi, MS on November 19, 1927. She was loved by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R. Howard Lucius. She is survived by a daughter, Kay Gecewicz (Jim) of Brandon, MS, sons, Hiram Lucius (Vicky) of Heath, TX, Mike Lucius (Angela) of Brandon, MS. Grandchildren include Chimene Gecewicz (Jose), Lauren Thompson (Bob), Andrew Lucius (Rebecca), Amanda Lucius, Katie Lucius, and Garrett Maldonado. Great grandchildren include Jacob and Kayla Thompson.
The family has requested that memorials be made to Hospice Ministries, 450 Towne Center Boulevard, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
