Long time Jackson resident Mae Alice (Barnes) Jones born July 19, 1926 went home to be with the Lord on Sept 25, 2011. She had been living in Denver, Co. close to her daughters, where she spent her last three years.
She is survived by; her four children Jim Jones, Ann Collins, Beth Jones , Haley McLane, grandchildren Steve, Dave, Mike (Jones), Amy (Collins), nephews Dick, Mike, Phil (Barnes) along with many "in-loves" (in-laws) cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by grandson Daniel (Jones), nephew Chuck (Barnes), and her loving brothers Richard and Selby Barnes.
She cherished her Lord, family, many friends, and southern heritage. Visitation will be 4-6pm Friday October 6, 2011, with Memorial Services at 11:00 am Saturday October 7, 2011 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home, 350 High Street, Jackson MS. The interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Mae Alice was one of the most gracious ladies ever. Of course, she did have a playful side, also! Remember her through the wondeful pictures that you have. She will be missed.
