Lloyd B. Jones, 82, was born September 5 1929 in Magee. He died October 21, 2011 at home. He was a graduate of MS State University and retired as an excise agent for the Internal Revenue Service having worked there 38 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he enjoyed gardening and sharing the bounty of his garden.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Sue T. Jones, and his second wife Elizabeth R. Jones. Survivors include son Brin Jones (Tammy) of Terry; step-grandson Jeremy Bruce of Brandon; sisters, Hilda Bryant of Terry, and Betty Cliburn (Henry) of Byram; step-daughter Diane Lockley (George) of Brandon; step-grandson David Lockley of Brandon; and step-son Mike Roberts of Pearl.
Visitation will be 5-8pm Monday October 24, 2011 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday October 25, 2011 at Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton preceded by visitation at 9:00am. Graveside services will be 3:00pm Tuesday at Mendenhall Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Morrison Heights Baptist Church or Gideons International.

Many fond memories of Lloyd beginning in 1962--Greenwood, MS. He was a great friend, good hunting and fishng buddy, and a true-blue family man. We alwasys enjoyed our time together and then too after his retirement at the luncheons.
