Mr. Eugene Mills age 71 formerly of Flat Lick, KY passed away on Friday, March 02, 2012 in the Pineville Community Hospital. He was the son of the late William "Bill" & Effie Mills of Knox County.
Mr. Mills was a former saw mill worker where he was a lumber grader, and was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Shirley (Hubbard) Mills whom he married in August 31, 0f 1957, and by his second wife Charlotte Mills who he married later in life. Nine brothers Chalis, Les, Loman, G.T., Henry, Gilbert Ray, Charles, Matthew, and Bill. Three sisters Minnie Gambrel, Beulah Mills, and Doris Jean Mills.
Left behind to mourn his passing is his daughters Jackie Burgess & husband Tommy of Corbin, KY, Kim Collins & husband Lonnie of Corbin, and Robin Wagers & husband Jimmy of London, KY, and adopted son R.J. Mills of London, KY, one brother Mac Arthur Mills & wife Alice of Pineville, KY. Two sisters Viola Hugley of Marietta, Georgia andSue Hastter of Indianapolis. Grandchildren Rebecca Bloomingburg, Aniee Burgess, Jaimie Burgess & fiancé Keith Ridiner, Katlyn Collins, Olivia Wagers, Layla Wagers, and Macaden Gene Collins.Two Great Grandchildren Madlyn Bloomingburg, and Noah Stevens. Plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Mr. Mills will be conducted on Monday, March 5th, 2012 @ 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Bargo officiating. Pallbearers will be Family & Friends. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends may call at the Hampton Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
