Dear Pohlmeyer families,
My deepest sympathy regarding the passing of your father. He was always kind to us, the Knapiks, as was your mother. Your father and mother were both missed by my parents and us when they were no longer in the neighborhood. My parents always appreciated your father's visits to them after he moved. He will continue to watch over you all, as he did in life. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time of loss and grief.

Dear Larry, Kathy,Colleen,Danette, David , Chris and families:
I'm so sorry to hear about Uncle Erwins passing, we know he is up in heaven looking down at his wonderful family.
Aunt Tillie and Uncle Erwin took us in in 1968, as Hank looked for a job in Houston,
and helped us find an apartment one street over from them.
We could smell Aunt Tillies kolaches all the way over to Thornton Street :)
Their hospitality and love was never forgotten.
God bless all of you,
Hanni, Heidi, Danielle and family

We send our love to all of you as you watch your dad, grandpa, and family member dance away to heaven. He was a gentle man who did all he could to care for his family and loved all of you. His life was full of all things good that this life can offer. He took advantage of it all by living life to its fullest. Hope he has a great time up there with all of our family members. The polkas and waltzes are blaring as the angels welcome him to the arms of God. He was an awesome and graceful dancer. Save a dance for me, Mr. P., as we will see you again one day. You touched our lives and it was a pleasure to know you. Love, Judy & Frankie Dohnalik, Amy Dohnalik, Tyler Burt, and John, Dylan, and Kyle Granados (Cameron, TX)

Will be keeping you in my prayers, Uncle Erwin...and I ask you to keep me in yours. Lots of good memories hunting at Weimar, a few fishing trips, and spending time with your family when I started work in Houston in 1966. You raised a fine family and was always a good example of how to live one's life for me. Hope to see you up there with the Lord one day. May God Bless You and Keep You.

"Most Merciful Father, we commend Erwin into your hands. We are filled with the sure hope that he will rise again on the Last Day with all who have died in Christ. We thank you for all the good things you have given him during his earthly life. O Father, in Your great mercy, accept our prayers that the gates of paradise may be opened for your servant. In our turn, may we too be comforted by the words of faith until we greet Christ in glory and are united with you and our departed. Through Christ our Lord…"
