Elizabeth Gaster, 87, passed away peacefully in Pueblo on October 10, 2013. She loved her family and taking care of them her was her ultimate joy. She had served in "Neighborhood Works," helping out our community and participated in the Duplicate Bridge club and the Bridge Club of The Shrine of St. Therese. Claramae Cribari was her special Bridge buddy. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her "sweetheart" husband of 52 years, Eugene E. Gaster; two children, Marsha Ann and Mary Elizabeth; her parents, Steven and Vera Stanko, brother, William; sister-in-law, Kay Stanko and nephew, Gary Stanko. She is survived by her children; Dennis (Marlene) Gaster, Mary Elaine (Bill) Barry, Jeanette (Jerry) Kelley, and Jane (Scott) Warren; grandchildren, James (Beth) Gaster, Scott Gaster, Mary (Jim) Miller, John (Bridgette) Gaster, and Kristina Kelley; 9 great-grandchildren; special nieces and nephews Steve (Polly) Stanko, Eugene (Connie) Stanko, Sue (Carl) Stump, her "adopted kids," Vickie (Art) Hickman, Denise Flores, Debbie Strankman and Phil, and Annette (Ken) Garcia; numerous other special nephews and nieces, her special extended Las Vegas "family," and a host of other family and friends that will miss her. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Friday, October 18, at 10:00 am. Donations can be made in Elizabeth's honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Mama..you are such a beautiful part of my life! I miss you terribly every day but yet you are with me all the time. You lived your life so simply but so gracefully. You are a wonderful mother, my "one of a kind" best friend and a special part of so many lives. I hear you Mama and I feel your touches each step along my way.
