Ginger Saunders Lambiris, 76, of Clearwater, FL died on November 9, 2013.
Ginger was born on February 20, 1937 in Waukegan, IL. She was a 1955 graduate of Waukegan Township High School. Throughout her life she held many secretarial and office jobs. Her favorite job was being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She moved to Florida in 1974, where she enjoyed the warm climate, beaches, and many new and old friends. She loved entertaining and was a gracious hostess.
She is survived by her sister, Linda (George) Curry and two brothers, Donald (Andrea) Saunders and Allan (Tari) Saunders of Platteville, WI; four children, Peter Lambiris of Las Vegas, NV, Jane Lambiris of Zion, IL, Beth Lambiris of Palm Harbor, FL and Steven Lambiris of Las Vegas, NV; three grandchildren, Kelly (Jason) Ferguson of Arlington Heights, IL, Dan (Jennifer) Kielp of Grayslake, IL and Amy (Kevin) Oelke of Milwaukee, WI; nine great-grandchildren, Jack, Sydney and Harper Ferguson, Derek, Lucas and Lauren Kielp, Oliver, Stella and Gus Oelke. Other survivors include many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve P. Lambiris and her parents, Marge Saunders and Walter and Una Saunders.
A memorial service will be held at Marsh Funeral Home in Gurnee, IL on December 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be at Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville, IL immediately following the service.
Memorial donations may be made to The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, Clearwater, FL.
