THOMASVILLE - Ms. Daisy Naomi Hinshaw Godbey went home to her heavenly father on the morning of Wednesday, November 13, 2013. Loved ones were by her side.
Born in Surry County, she was the daughter of the late Lester and the late Emma Hinshaw. Daisy is survived by five children: Jean Grimes; Logan Hill; Ann Godbey; John Godbey and Judy Greene. She is also survived by four local grandchildren: Meghan Williamson and Brandon, Logan and Larkin Hill, as well as five other grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22 at Rich Fork Baptist Church in Thomasville from 4-6pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 6pm with Pastor Michael Bowers. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Rich Fork Baptist Church children's ministry.
