I worked with Doug for 25 years in my Ross Computer Systems role.

In addition to being a great human being he was a great business resource. He thoroughly understood how all facets of the ice business worked. He taught me to build as much as possible into the financial statement as that was the only thing many people would look at. He also had a terrific ability to recall detail. He knew that the details mattered and could easily undo the grandest of plans. He was a tremendous resource to RI.

At a personal level he was a good sounding board and a good friend!!!

Doug was a wonderful man that I was proud to call my friend. He was kind generous and loving. He had a wonderful relationship with my brother Mickey Sr. for 20+ years?we will all miss him but God decided he had suffered enough.

“It's funny how, in this journey of life, even though we may begin at different times and places, our paths cross with others so that we may share our love, compassion, observations, and hope. This is a design of God that I appreciate and cherish.” ? Steve Maraboli
--I am so blessed that my path crossed with Doug's. What a wonderful man. I had only known him a few years, but he was always a pleasure to work with. My prayers are with his friends and family. May you find peace and comfort.
