MENENDEZ, Anthony, 89 of Tampa and Dade City, died January 4, 2014. He was a veteran of The United States Army having served in WWII and a retired airline mechanic. He was an avid salt water fisherman and loved building model airplanes. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Belva Marilyn Menendez; children Allan Strople (Jan), Rosemary Ballon, Anthony S. Menendez, grandchildren Joshua Menendez, Syney Bloomfield, Kara Strople, A.J. Strople, Diego Ballon, Dante Ballon. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 1pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 9016 Fort King Road, Dade City, FL with interment to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Thonotosassa, FL. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to HPH Hospice of East Pasco. Please send online condolences to www.sunsetfh.com
