I worked with Scott and we were the old guys in the office....when we weren't really that old :) I lost touch a little bit after Hurricane Katrina but I think of Scott often. We would laugh and lift each other up when we thought there wasn't a lot to laugh about...sometimes it's hard to see the forest through the trees. Scott, I miss you and hope that you are resting in peace. Think of the rest of us and put in a good word with God as you sit on your cloud next to him. I hope to see you one day. Love always.... Tim

Scott was the first person to offer his hand in friendship to me when I went to work at Progressive. We became lunch buddies for a good while (at least while I lasted at Progressive). We had a lot in common and we saw a lot of things the same way.
The fact that Scott lasted so long at Progressive says a lot about him. When I became Claims Manager at Saia Motor Freight I tried to recruit him and I would have liked to have had him on our team.
I know he will be missed by his family, friends and co-workers and you all are in my prayers. I do believe Scott is now in a better place and I hope you all find solace in that fact.

Always enjoyed Scott's company along the parade routes when we came to NO for Mardi Gras. I remember he and Vicki talking many times about visits to Gatlinburg, which is near where we live. It was great being able to see him just a few weeks ago, even though the visit was short. Our prayers are with Vicki and the rest of Scott's family.

Scott,
Thank you for being "you"; for loving Vicki, for being there for Aaron, for your conspiracy theories. I'll never forget the look on your face when you opened you "Christmas present" and I'll NEVER look at a bottle of aspirin the same way EVER again! See you on the other side. Godspeed.

It's very hard to say goodbye. Even though I haven't seen Scott since Katrina I've exchanged e-mails periodically...although not nearly as often as I should have.I've always considered him a friend and hoped that we would get to have a beer in our old age. I will have a beer for you buddy, and regret that you're not there drinking it with me. My sincere condolences to Vicky and the rest of the family. The Ellis' will carry all of you in our prayers.
