Elroy Louis Machado, the beloved husband of Rosemary Gravois Machado, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014 at age 87. Elroy is survived by his brother Clarence and sons; Richard and Thomas and deceased daughter Sue Roberts. Elroy is survived by 5 grandchildren: Shannon, Kimberly, Todd, Danielle, and Raymond, and 4 great grandchildren: Cole, Pierce, Morgan and Molly. He was known by his grandchildren as PawPaw. Elroy was born in New Orleans on October 21, 1926 to Louis Machado and Henrietta Guidry Machado.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 1:00 pm where friends may call after 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

My husband, Richard played cards with Elroy many years ago.Elroy may be in his presence now having a good old time. I know he will be missed by many. He was a fine gentleman.
