Hi Don. It's Christmas eve.I just hope your relaxing, sitting on a cloud in heaven. I hope you are enjoying your pipe, and a scotch like we used to do over a game of chess. What a wonderful friend, and mentor you were to me. I miss you. Mitts

Our Christmas will never be the same since God called you home. I will miss the excitement in your eyes when I opened a gift from you, your humor and boisterous laughter, and all the love and joy you brought to everyone around you. Celebrate with the angels Daddy and watch over us. I still feel you all around me. I know now you will finally get your Lexus and hippopotamos this year. I love you.

I was honored to work with Don at New York Life in New Orleans in the 1980s. He was a fine gentleman of the sort there are too few in the world.
