Mrs. Sarah Katherine Tanner Maes, 49, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Joe "BJ" Tanner and Marjorie Daniel Tanner. She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel A. Maes; brother, Kyle Tanner and wife, Carolyn; her nieces, Kaitlin and Quinn Tanner; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Maes and Gregory Maes; sister-in-law, Pamela Todesco; several nieces and nephews, and her beloved pets, Jax, Jethro, Emma, Boo and Mongo.
Sarah was a native of Shreveport, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA for the past 5 years. She loved decorating her home both inside and out. She worked in the Film and Television industry. She was a member of I.A.T.S.E. Local 478 and would like to thank the members for their love and support. She would also like to thank her dear friends. They are all so close to her heart.
At Sarah's request, a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, thhe family requests contributions in Sarah's name to ARNO, 1219 Coliseum Street,
New Orleans, LA 70130 or online at www.animalrescueneworleans.org.

I was shocked to hear of Katherine's passing. I knew her when we were babies in Shreveport and had reunited several years ago. My condolences go out to her family, may the Lords comfort and love give you peace at this time and always.
