Maxine Milla went to be with the Lord on Friday. May 9, 2014 at the age of 79. Preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Belisario Milla. She is survived by 1 brother, 2 sisters, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. A native of Honduras and a resident of Kenner, LA. Maxine received a Bachelor's in accounting in Honduras where she worked as an accountant for the government until moving to the U.S. She is a member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Kenner.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr. in Metairie, LA on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 11:00 Am until service time. Interment to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Maxine's name to the 1st United Methodist Church, 1000 Clay St., Kenner, LA 70062.
