Carol Bryant Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 11, 2014.

Carol Jean Bryant, 73, of Richland Washington died on Saturday, May 31, 2014 after a brief illness. Born on July 6, 1940 in Potlatch, Idaho, she was the daughter of Della and Wesley Tempero (both deceased). Mom spent a lot of time as a child on the family farm in Potlatch. Mom married our dad,Charles Edward Bryant in June of 1958 who preceded her in death on March 17, 1997. They had four children.
Mom was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Over the years her four children spread their wings and landed in several different geographical areas across the country. Regardless of the miles between them, Mom was always just a phone call away for any of her children or grandchildren. While it was well known among her children that she was not the best cook, she certainly enjoyed eating meals made by her children as well as visiting dining establishments with friends and family. Mom was a gifted artist who oil painted and did interior home decorating. One of her works is a mural on the wall of a local restaurant in Hayden near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho She did many paintings all with great detail on canvas as well as other items such as old saw blades. She could take a group of flowers and other items and create beautiful centerpieces, wreaths, etc. She resided in a senior complex in Richland where she did most of the decorating for holiday functions. Everyone loved what she did and praised her highly. She enjoyed shopping, visiting artsy shops, music, nature, and beautiful scenery. She placed great value on spending individual quality time with each of her children and grandchildren whenever she could. "Me and you time" she would say.
Surviving are her children: Kathy Walker (spouse Brian) who resides in Veedersburg, Indiana, Sue Kuespert (spouse Rick) who resides in Kennewick,Washington, Debbie Leriche (spouse Paul) who resides in Redmond, Oregon, and Tim Bryant (spouse Spring) who resides in Ogden, Utah. Nine grandchildren (Jessica Marsters, Keith Leriche, Kyle Kuespert, Austin Walker, Ryan Walker, Andrew Bryant, Ashley Bryant, Maleah Bryant, and Moriah Bryant, and three great-grandchildren (Aidan Marsters, Holden Marsters, and Landon Marsters). One sister, Reva Stansbury and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Skyline Memorial Gardens in Portland, Oregon on June 19that 3:00 pm. Mom will be buried next to our dad and her husband Charles Edward Bryant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Leukemia Research Foundation.

My Precious Sister,
3 days ago, I lit a candle for you, in remembrance of your birthday. It is so hard to bear the pain, knowing I can't celebrate with you again here on earth. We've had so many good times together, and the hugs we used to share were great, when I close my eyes and think of you, I can feel the warmth of your love and hugs, and I miss you so very much. I 'll always keep you in my thoughts and cherish the memories we had together, forever. So until I see you again in heaven, bye my darling little sister, I love you.

My Precious Sister,
It has been a year ago today since you went to be with Jesus, and I miss you so very much. The pain and emptiness doesn't go away. You were in my life longer than any one else, here on earth, but I'm sure you are enjoying the wonders of heaven. I'll see you again one day. I'll always love you & keep your memories alive in my heart, so until we meet again, bye my sweet little sister.

My Dear Darling Sister,
Words cannot express the emptiness I feel without you. As the Holidays draw near, I think of you and miss you so very much. But I'm sure you are enjoying the wonders of Heaven and celebrating the Birth of Jesus with him in his Home. What a joyous occasion! I pray all of our family and all of your family will be able to join you some day. Until we meet again, I will keep your memories close to my heart. Love you always, Your Sis.

My Precious Sister,
Yesterday would have been your 74th Birthday. I miss you so very much, and wanted to call you to tell you how much I love you, and how very much I thank God for sharing you with me as many years as he did. My life has such an empty place, without you. God wanted you, so now, you are with him, enjoying the wonders of Heaven. I'll never ever forget the wonderful times and closeness we have had together.

My darling sister,
I love and miss you more than words can say. You have been with me through so many hard times in my life, as my friend as well as my sister. I know you are in a special place God had reserved for you. Thank you for being such a precious joy in my life. It will never be the same without you. I'll be looking forward to the day we will be together again. I hope it won't be too long.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Our sympathy to you all. Although I don't remember your mother very well, I will remember spending time with her in the ICU waiting room when Keith had his accident. She seemed so lost and distraught ( as I know you all were) I said I think you need a hug. At that I wrapped my arms around her, I know it is what she needed, I felt a kinship and know if we lived closer, we would of become good friends. Our blessings to you all, Fond regards, Rob & Marla
