Margie Jane Ledford, 73, of Dallas, N.C., passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014, at the Robin Johnson House.

She was born in Cleveland County, N.C., and was the daughter of the late James C. and Wilma Hoffman Ledford and sister of the late Elsie Ledford.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Messer and husband David; two nephews, Kevin and Patrick Messer; and five great-nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2014, at Dallas Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Richard Cole officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton, N.C.
