Mrs. Joyner was a truly kind and wonderful lady. I was blessed to enjoy many happy times in their home. Her Christian witness was always true and strong. May God bless Mr. Joyner and her whole family.

My mom (Dorothy Herman) and Sallie worked together at the VA Hospital in Jackson for several years. Sallie was a good co-worker and a good friend and my mom thought the world of her. I can see the two of them now, talking and laughing together, free from the cares and concerns of this world. My thoughts and prayers are with Sallie's family. May God bless them and keep them close during this time.

I knew the Joyner family through their son JW. Ms. Sallie and Mr. Joyner treated me lots of love and encouragement. God bless and keep this sweet family. She is in heaven smiling down on us all.

I only had the privilege of seeing Sallie a few times. They were enough to know she was a wonderful person.

I had the privilege of living across the street from the Joyner Family when I was a child. Sallie treated me as if I were her own child. Her son Pep and I spent countless hours playing together. We all attended Parkway Baptist Church. She was a true Christian and always had a smile on her face and a kind word on her lips. Those were some wonderful times and I will forever remember the love and kindness Sallie Joyner and her family showed me. My thoughts and prayers are with her beautiful family.
