Lois Jones Robertson went to be with her Lord on July 9, 2014. She was born January 1916 in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania to Alfred Deagan and Estella Gilliland Jones. She was a graduate of Jersey Shore High School and Clearfield Memorial Hospital. Lois married Richard Black Robertson in 1942 and they had two daughters; they moved to Arizona in 1956 and settled in Tempe. She was employed by Dr. William G. Payne, M.D. and was an office nurse for 28 years. She was a member of University Lutheran Church. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Eleanor Danley and her brother Torrence "Vernon" Jones. She is survived by her daughters Ann Poole (Jim) and Lisa Zelenski (Paul), grandchildren Russ Poole (Candy), Kelly Poole (Shannon), Jennifer Crane (Aaron), Margo Zelenski (Matt Mansfield), Jimmy Poole (Amber), and Alison Gile (R.C.). She had 14 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many others who called her Grandma. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 17 at Carr-Tenney Mortuary- 2621 S. Rural Rd., Tempe, Arizona 85282 from 5 to 7 p.m. Services will be held Friday, July 18 at 11 a.m. at University Lutheran Church- 340 East 15th Street, Tempe, Arizona 85281. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to University Lutheran Church or Hospice of the Valley, Friendship Village- 2525 E. Southern Avenue, Tempe, Arizona, 85282.
