Mr. Frank Junior Crane, age 70, of Morganton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 25, 2014. Frank was born the son of the late Addie Frank Crane and Sallie Mary Jane Connor Crane on December 5, 1943 in Rutherford Co.
Frank was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. He enjoyed restoring his 1964 Chevy Impala and working in his yard. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed.
Along with his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Juanita Tester Crane, a son, Frankie James Crane, and a brother, Jessie Cecil Crane.
Those left behind to cherish Frank's memory include two daughters, Wanda Barr of Seven Lakes, NC and Rhonda Barnes of Morganton; two brothers, Floyd Crane of Ft. Wayne, IN and Bill Crane and his wife, Brenda of Morganton; two sisters, Rose Stimson and Ethel Hembree, both of Morganton; a sister-in-law, Dot Crane of Morganton; six grandchildren, Ashley Brockmeier, Shaina Farris and her husband, Chris, Savannah Barr, Erica Barnes, Cody Barnes and Harley Barnes; and four great grandchildren, Aliyah Farris, Adalyn Farris, Kristina Shell and Wesley Shell. Also surviving are numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Riverside Baptist Church with Chaplin Larry Cronk officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
The family requests that memorials be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care
