I was very sad to hear of Aunt Joyce's death. Although I had not seen her in over 15 years I have keep up with her and her family through my sister, Betty, who did get to talk with her. We would also always try to send a card a Christmas to stay connected. It is actually very coincidental that she passed away this week as my husband, Bob, and I are going to be in Rochester for our high school reunion and were planning on visiting my parents' graves and we were going to stop at the house. We did not have a current phone number. So sorry for all of you.
My fondest memories are of my childhood with Aunt Joyce and Uncle Charlie. We would always visit grandma Root in Albion on Sunday afternoons and would have Sunday dinner either at Grandma's or Aunt Joyce's. At that time they lived right down the street from Grandma. Charla, Paula, Betty and I would wander around the neighborhood and walk to some little store by some railroad tracks. Couldn't even tell you where now!
After I got married I know Aunt Joyce visited my parents, Gerry and Rudy in Rochester and they always had a great time. My mom loved Joyce very much and I think my parents always did their best to support her through the years.
Again our family sends our condolences to all of you especially to Lori as I do remember her the best. Arlene Raudonat Blum, 2449 India Blvd. Deltona,
