Poem from grandchildren

How do you do what you do,
it seems you're always doing something new.
Making a meal or cleaning the house,
working as a doctor to your crippled spouse.
Loving & caring for whoever's around
and still finding time to go to town.
You are the one that we love,
the one that helps if push comes to shove.
No matter what time, no matter what day,
everyone knows what you will say
It will never be NO but always be yes
even if it puts you under some stress.
We can't explain the way we feel,
because the way you treat us is so ideal.
If we are sad we just give you a call
and you're picking us up before we fall.
We want to thank you with all of our hearts
for looking after us from the very start
We really are blessed to have you as our grandma
So we thank you for being our one and only Mamaw

My condolences to Linda's family and friends...I have many a fond memory of my younger days with Linda, Charles and Joye Baggett, my uncle Early Harrell, his wife Gladys Giese (Joye's sister) and my cousin Myrna, my "uncle and aunt" Joe and Doris Baggett. Wonderful summer days at the Colorado river camp near Smithville and beach vacations at Jones Creek. Linda had such a sunny personality, always smiling...

Linda and I were classmates all thru school. Our birthdays are one week apart and as children we celebrated many of our birthdays together. We can have faith that Linda is in a wonderful place. Peace be with her family.
