George Edward Novak , 78, passed away on October 7, 2014 at his home in Kaufman, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 7, 1936 in Homestead, Pa, to George and Mary Ann Novak, he was married to Jean Hagerty Novak on July 19, 1958.
In addition to his wife of 56 years, George is also survived by their six children; Glenn, Karen Williams and her husband Mike, Gregory and his wife Joanne, Gary and his wife Jeanna, Janice and her husband Stan, and Beverly Murray; 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He also leaves behind 2 sisters, Linda Elliott and Millie Mikulla and several nieces and nephews, and a dear Aunt, Adele DeBiasi.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Before moving to the countryside of Kaufman, George lived and worked for 73 years in the Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania.
George will be dearly missed by all those who loved and cared for him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Ann's Church in Kaufman, Texas, on a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
