Minnie Lucille Osborn Cusworth, known as Lucy Cusworth was born November 11, 1922 and died peacefully October 6, 2014. Lucy was a long time resident of Roslyn Washington. She was married to a coal miner Harry Cusworth who preceded her in death in 1990. Lucy was a mother to three children, Patricia Soderstrom, Dorothy Say and George Cusworth. She was a waitress for 23 years at the Auto Rest Restaurant in Cle Elum. Lucy loved the beauty of the outdoors and camping with family on the west fork of the Teanaway. She and Harry enjoyed taking long Sunday drives together. She was a woman of faith and she loved the Lord.Lucy is preceded by death by her parents Onis Osborn and Edith Graham Obsborn, seven siblings Virgil, Madge, Louie, Verdie (Ray), Lorene, Carl, and Lloyd (Bud), her husband Harry (Hub) Cusworth, daughter Dorothy Say, son-in-law Robert (Bob) Say, and grandson Dave (Davy) Soderstrom.Lucy is survived by her Daughter Patricia Soderstrom (Dave Soderstrom), her son George Cusworth, six grandchildren Norman Soderstrom (Lisa Soderstrom), Mark Soderstrom (Veronica Soderstrom), Bob Say (Danielle Bricker), Connie Say-O'Donnell (Bernie O'Donnell), Duane Soderstrom, and Jim Say (Kim Say), and fifteen great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held Saturday October 11th at 3:30 pm at Cascade Funeral Home in Cle Elum followed by graveside services at the Roslyn Cemetery and a gathering for family and friends. The family requests memorial donations be sent to the Roslyn Fire Department Christmas Eve Santa fire truck event.
