To the Melville family my sympathies and prayers go put to you. Mr. Melville looms large in my memories of younger days. It seemed my families financial world revolved around Ed's processing of farm loans for my grandparents, to my parents banking needs to then of myself and Kathy's. Ed was of sterling reputation, trustworthiness , and of course his approachability and friendliness in our family- we all looked to him for his wise counsel.
Hopefully your sadness is softened by the thoughts of all the people he personally helped through the years with a unique humanity.
