John J. Craley, J.J. passed away December 28, 2014 after a lengthy illness.
John was a Marine Corp Veteran and retired from Jeep in 1987 after 35 years of service. His favorite past times were fishing, hunting, gardening and family cookouts, with occasional visits to the casino with his dearest friend Jr. Anderson.
John is survived by his 4 children; Darla (Joey) Sahdala, Sue Comstock, John (Cheri) Craley, and Dawn Lawson, 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mae and John Craley and brothers, Joe and Chuck Craley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 2-8 p.m. at H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd. 419-473-1301. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home followed by interment at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
The family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation to Dad's nurse, Bonnie, for her compassionate care throughout our father's journey. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to donor's choice. birkenkampfuneralhome.com
