Shirley Ann Fetters, 75, of Tollesboro, Kentucky died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe. Mrs. Fetters was the widow of James Roger Fetters who died September 18, 2012. She was a member of the Hickory Grove Church, had formerly worked for Bakers and Martins Department Store and also was a personal caregiver. She was born in Tollesboro, Kentucky on October 11, 1939 the daughter of the late Winn and Dorothy Garrett Bryant. She is survived by her three daughters, Kathy Applegate (Sammy) and Tara Fetters all of Tollesboro, KY and Angie Gilbert of Maysville, KY; grandchildren, Amber Kielman (Michael), Nicholas Gilbert (Tara) and Derek Gilbert (Amanda); great grandchildren, Mikayla Kielman, Abby Kielman, Sophia Gilbert and Aiden Gilbert; step grandchild, Penny Stanfield and her two children, Logan and Taylor Stanfield and her sister, Doris Magaw of Middletown, Ohio. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Thomas Bryant and Russell Bryant and one sister, Bernice Holbrook. Funeral services for Shirley Fetters will be held at the Hickory Grove Church at 11:00 AM Friday, January 30, 2015 with Bro. Charles Emmons officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Gilbert, Derek Gilbert, Michael Kielman, Sammy Applegate, Bob Kyle and Billy Castle. Honorary Pallbearers will be the men of the Hickory Grove Church. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 5 to 7 PM. Memorials may be made to the Care Center at Kenton Pointe, % Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056. The arrangements are under the direction of the Barbour and Son Funeral Home.
