Ida Jane Ollis Warren, age 90, of Old Fort, NC, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 29, 2015.

Ida was born December 12, 1924 in Buncombe County, NC to the late John and Ella Ollis. She worked in textiles most of her life and was a longtime member of Victory Baptist Church in Black Mountain, NC. She loved going to church. Ida also enjoyed being outdoors and working in her flowers.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, James Warren, one granddaughter and nine siblings.

Surviving Ida are two sons, Glenn Warren and wife, Phyllis and George Warren and wife, Ivory all of Old Fort, NC; two daughters, Elizabeth Marshall and Jeanette Hill both of Thomasville, NC; one sister, Lois Ledford of Bostic, NC; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; many friends from church and her neighborhood; and her beloved cat, Trouble.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Kirksey Funeral Chapel in Old Fort, NC. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Victory Baptist Church in Black Mountain, NC with Rev. Tony Hall and Rev. Randy Gregg officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Community Cemetery.
