Celia Lopez, beloved aunt and friend, entered eternal rest on January 31, 2015 at the age of 93. A native of San Antonio, TX, she was born to Santos and Francisca Lopez on March 15, 1921, and now reunites with her parents; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Celia enjoyed spending her time in the company of others. She would open up her home to many so she could take pleasure in their company. Christmas holiday lit up her spirit, as it was her favorite holiday and she adored having her family around to celebrate with her. Celia was not the type to be mad or upset, she truly savored life happily. Her positive and loving persona affected all around her, and during her time shared at St. Francis Nursing Home she was referred to as "The Angel." All who knew her will miss her presence dearly. The family will be receiving guests at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. to celebrate a 10:00 Mass of Resurrection at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II .
