Dolores Koncaba, 83, of Moulton passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2015. She was born on July 1, 1931 to the late Adolph and Viola Wagner. Dolores married the love of her life on July 18, 1949 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Moulton.
She was active in the American Legion Auxiliary serving as treasurer and the KJZT. She also enjoyed making quilts for her family and quilting with the ladies of the church.
Dolores is survived by her children Carolyn (Ervin) Kolacny and Marla (Raymond) Ebner both of Hallettsville, Kenneth (Carla) Koncaba of Sheridan, Timothy (Rosalie) Koncaba and Richard Koncaba both of Moulton. Numerous grand-children and great-grandchildren.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, granddaughter Delaine Kolacny and two brothers, Harvey and Gary Wagner.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will start at 1:00 pm Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Smith Funeral Home-Moulton followed by a rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be a 10:00 am Friday, February 20, 2015 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Maison officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorials-Donors Choice.
