Edward T. McNamara, age 81. Longtime resident of Calumet City. At rest February 21, 2015. Proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Korean War. Lifetime member of American Legion Post 330. Beloved husband of Mildred nee Shellberg for 55 years. Loving father of Michael (Penny) and William (Kelly) McNamara. Proud grampa of Kerry, Chance, Dylan, Connor and Kayla. Fond uncle and dear friend to many. Funeral Friday 9:30 a.m. from Hennessy-Nowak Funeral Home, 400 Pulaski Road, (154th St.) Calumet City to St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment private. Visitation Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Retired principal for many years at Wentworth and Wilson schools. Ed loved spending time at his home in Tomahawk, WI.
