Sherry Watts Gossett Authier, 55
Born on 12/16/1959 Passed Away on 2/22/2015
Sherry passed away on Sunday at 9:15 pm at St. Charles hospital in Bend, OR surrounded by her family. There will be a visitation on Wednesday February the 25th from 4-7 pm. at Prineville Funeral Home; followed on Thursday by a graveside service at Howard Cemetery near Walton Lake at 10 am. Service officiated by Greg Crass.
Sherry was born in Clinton, IN to Robert and Loretta Watts who preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister Darla(Jamey) Willming Chrisman, IL whom she was very close with. She spent the early part of her life in Montezuma, IN where she attended and graduated high school. She married Bob Gossett and they had two sons Chad(Suzanne) Gossett and Kyle Gossett of Clinton, IN.
Later in life she met her sweetheart Troy Authier and will have been married 12 years in March. They began their life together in Prineville where they enjoyed hunting and fishing together. She also was very passionate about cooking, crafting, and gardening. Troy added to her life by bringing her a whole new set of children; step sons Tim(Danielle) and Jake Authier, and step daughters Danielle, Samantha, and Jolee. She is also survived by special niece Kayla(Kevin) Brothers and special nephew David Willming who were her sisters kids. She has 4 fur babies: Barkley, Sundae, Gracie, and Scarlet.
Sherry worked at Cross Street for 11 ½ years and at Bi-mart since October. She loved all of her customers like they were family. Any person that she ever met became a friend; she was a very loving and caring person.
