Uncle Pud
Guess good stories are appropriate. Coming to the dairy to get milk so we could make GOOD homemade ice cream
Every year on my birthday, you would remind me how cold it was. How you went to our house to keep the wood stove going so nothing would freeze. Oh, and how Uncle Roy got to draw water for the animals and his rope would freeze before he could get the bucket brought up.
I remember going to the Fewkes house when Doug was born---had to go to the outhouse and it was winter!!
Watching thos onry boys---a very few times. What fun that was :(
Holidas at Grandma and Grandpa's She could really cook and you, Uncle Roy and dadddy could put it awa!!! Not to mention everyone else who was there. We had a houseful.
When you lived on the Potter farm and raised Emu's---that was different

Dixie & Boys, we will never forget the man that made a difference in so many lives. We appreciate the time we had with your family while in Springfield. You all had a great influence on the lives of the young people as you served as youth sponsors at Glendale Christian Church. May God bless you during the celebration of Doyle's life.

Dear Dixie, I will always treasure the time I have spent getting to know you and dear Doyle back in the 80's at Tyro, Kansas. I will always be so grateful for the kindness you showed us when our daughter was stranded on I 44 near Springfield and you took her back to Joplin. Doyle is one of the kindest men I have ever met. I know how much he will be missed for the time being. But, we look forward to meeting him in Heaven. Please know that I am praying for you and your family. Darlene Sanders
