Ethel Mary Cave, 87, of Shenandoah passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Life Care Center of New Market.
She was born on May 26, 1927 in Page County and was the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Lucas Hilliard.
Mrs. Cave retired from the Genie Plant of Shenandoah and was a lifetime member of the Shenandoah Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she taught Sunday school for over 50 years.
On September 19, 1948 she married the love of her life Charles "Wink" Cave who preceded her in death on September 26, 2006.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby and wife, JoAnn, Buddy and wife, Mary, all of Stanley; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; two brothers, Charles and Clyde Hilliard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Saturday, April 11, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Shenandoah Pentecostal Holiness Church. Friends also may call at either of the son's homes.
A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm, Sunday, April 12 at the Shenandoah Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Gary Saler and Associate Pastor Larry Sullivan officiating. Burial will be at Leake's Chapel Cemetery.
