Kimberly (Kim Hoover) Snell, 55, of Harlan, died on Wednesday April 22, 2015, at St. Joseph Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born on February 4, 1960, in Wabash, she was a daughter of Charles and Bertha (Collins) Hoover, who survive. A graduate of Huntington High School, and Lutheran School of Nursing she worked as a Registered Nurse at Hickory Creek Nursing Home. She was always helping and taking care of others, she loved riding motorcycles, going to concerts and watching the Denver Broncos. She will be sadly missed by her parents; daughter, Hope (Gustavo) Frederick-Garcia, of Harlan; son, Billy (Trish) Frederick, of Grabill; she was an amazing grandmother to Flavaiano, Gus, Juan and Lindsay; brothers, Rod Hoover, of Utah and Randy (Tina) Hoover, of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her son Jay; and husbands Jamie Frederick and Kim Jay Snell.
Funeral service will be 10:30am Tuesday April 28, at The Ekklesia in Harlan, 12616 Spencerville Road, Harlan, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Monday April 27, at Hockemeyer Funeral Home, 17629 State Road 37, Harlan. Memorial donations may be given to her grandchildren's college fund c/o Hope Frederick-Garcia or Billy Frederick.

The posted picture is how I remember Kim. We studied and graduated from Lutheran College together in the mid-90's. Occasionally our paths would cross in life and she always shared news of her kids and grandkids. I was saddened to hear that she had passed and offer sincere sympathy to her family and friends.
