LUDLOW-Nataile Ann Gruber, 84, died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center after a short illness. Nataile was born in Ludlow, August 12, 1930 daughter of Logan and Lillian Warner. She is survived by Alan Gruber of Crested Butte, CO and Gary Gruber of Eugene, OR and Lisa Gruber of Ludlow, and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Tony J. Gruber. She was a life-long resident of Ludlow. Her hobbies included puzzles and hummingbirds. Over the years she was active in the community and with town government. She worked for many years for the Visiting Nurses Association as a Caregiver to the elderly residents of Ludlow.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday May 13, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Annunciation, Ludlow. Graveside committal services and burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Ludlow.
Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday May 12th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home, 12 Meadow St. Ludlow, VT.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Black River Good Neighbor Services, 37B Main St. Ludlow, VT 05149

Natalie's beloved brother, Logan "Bud", KIA December 21, 1944, rests at Henri-Chapelle Cemetery, Belgium. Although she passed before seeing The Green Mountain Boys of Henri-Chapelle book and the finished product of our efforts, generations to come will know of a boy from Ludlow who gave his life and of a sister who absolutely adored him. Thank you, Natalie and Bud.

I will miss your mom.... she often stopped by for conversation and assistance. She was usually willing to share what was on her mind (haha), but somehow would manage to slide her kids into the conversation, regardless of what she came in to see me about. Her children, and grandchildren, were always the highlight of our visits, and I know they meant the world to her. You're in our thoughts and prayers, as we pray for Nat at peace....
