Dear Olivia:
We were so saddened to hear of your father's recent passing. We knew your father when we were students at Ripon College. Your father was a member of Theta Sigma Tau fraternity, of which we were also members. Your father was a dear friend and fraternity brother of ours. Your father was best man at our wedding on May 11, 1985. We were delighted to meet your mother at that time, who traveled to Michigan with your father to attend our wedding. Although we have never met, we think of you as "family" because your parents shared so many milestones with us. We join you in feeling your loss. You have our most heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy.
With warmest regards,
Kevin and Linda Hall

Ruth and Fred,
I was shocked to read of Bruce's passing on the Cuffe website while looking for information for a neighbor's services. I think of him every time I pass the Community Church in Lynnfield. Our thoughts are with you both and with Brent and your granddaughter. God's Peace,
Carol and David

Dear Olivia, I was so, so sad to hear of your Dad's passing. I knew your Dad from 1st Baptist in Lynn. He was a great guy ! we sang together and had lots of laughs together. Then I got to know your Mom. I actually did her make up for their wedding. They were both really special people. My heart aches for you, Honey. Your parents both adored you . You will be together again. I know there must be more smiles & laughs in Heaven because of your Dad's presence. I look forward to seeing him and your Mom someday and doing some more singing. May the Lord comfort you, Olivia. You are precious in his sight !

Dearest Olivia,
we are so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I had the opportunity to serve with him and your mom as a Lion for many years. He was an amazing, kindhearted person with a huge faith and a smile to match. He is now with your mom and may they both rest in eternal peace.

I had the pleasure of working with Bruce for a brief time a few years ago. The thing that struck me about him was that he was always smiling. Even after he was re-assigned, I could always count on a warm reception and that smile when I saw him around the office on my visits. I'll miss Bruce, and will be thinking about the family during this time of loss...

My deepest sympathies to Bruce's family and friends. I met him only once at a Lions meeting a few months ago. He had the best smile. And he always seemed to be smiling. Go with God, good fellow. Your rest is well deserved. Till we all meet again. Donna Hanlon, Nahant

I got to know Bruce during our high school years.
An avid reader of history he also kept up with current events.
I also remember fellow students asking for his help in understanding an historical event for which he not only explained what may be required for an exam but also expanded upon the subject (much more than what could have ever been afforded in the classroom).
I thought he might someday aspire to become an attorney simply because I had never known him to lose an argument.
He, however, chose a path of spending his personal time (beyond friends and family) to serve his Church and support his Community. There is no higher calling.
Until we meet again.

Olivia,
There are no words that can express the one and only Bruce, he filled the room with love and togetherness with his grace and simple smile: He gave so openly and expected little in return: The world has lost a great man, a great Lion, a dedicated loving father and a great friend

Uncle Bruce, you were an angel among men and now you are our guardian angel watching over us from heaven, with Auntie Beth. Thank you for always being a voice of reason and always showing me the type of person I could aspire to be. You are a wonderful Uncle and I'll immensely miss you, your brilliant sense of humor and smile. I pray that you and Auntie Beth look over Olivia and Brendan as they journey through life together and they find the kind of happiness that the two of you had. I hope that the rest of the family and your friends can find comfort at this time as losing you leaves a huge void for all. Please guide us in supporting Olivia, as she was truly Daddy's girl and she needs our love and support more than ever. I'll always remember you fondly and I'll think of you often...and always with a smile. Thank you for loving me unconditionally and being the best Uncle that a niece could every wish for. All my love, Danielle
