Stephen Nazarko of Waterford passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7 2015 with his loving partner Alicia by his side.
He was born in New London on June 20, 1958. He was the son of Edna and the late Bohdan Nazarko.
He was employed by Perry Lathrop Auto Body for many years. He loved nature and being outdoors. He especially liked hiking with Alicia and their two dogs Buddy and Blue. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends. He graduated from East Lyme High School in 1977.
His memory lives on through his loving partner Alicia Stopa, his mother Edna Nazarko, his three brothers Paul Nazarko (Lynn), Thomas Nazarko, Michael Nazarko (Patti), and his sister Linda Gaito (Greg), his son Adam Nazarko (Barbara), his two grandchildren and ten nieces and nephews.
Stephen's family will be receiving relatives and friends at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Lake Ave., Niantic, on Saturday June 13, 2015 from 4 until 7 PM. A memorial will be celebrated immediately following calling hours at 7 PM. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Connecticut Humane Society at 169 Old Colchester Rd. Quaker Hill, CT 06375
