Bessie's large shiny, teeth and big smile as well as her glasses, and an occasional cigarette always reminded me of Gayle. Both were always strong ladies, with a loving touch and a sharp tongue when needed, A true Missouri Bell. I feel for all your loss but am proud for Heavens Gain. God will surely enjoy Bessie with Him . My prayer and cares to all that have lost a such a special Lady and friend.

Thoughts and prayers from Texas to all of you. Aunt Bessie was a true gem. I loved talking to her and when I was little and went to visit her at Big Johns, she always made me feel so special- letting me have anything I wanted, letting me pretend to waitress, fix my own soda- I know she will be missed.
