Vinton-Janet Dugas LeBouef, 63, died Friday, July 3, 2015 in Lake Charles.
She was a native of Vinton and a longtime resident of Sulphur. She loved to read books and loved her animals. Janet was a licensed CNA who loved the patients she cared for, and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her husband, Sanford Roy Jennings of Sulphur; three children, Chantelle Jaquillard of Vinton, Raymond Dean and wife, Sheila of Carlyss, and Clint LeBouef of Sulphur; two brothers, Tony Dugas of Plaucheville, and Paul Menard of Lake Charles; sixteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Forest "Fatty" and Kathryn Dugas; and a grandson, Blake DuFresne.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 9, in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Bro. Anthony "Tony" Dugas will officiate. Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday with a rosary service at 6:30 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until the time of service Thursday in the funeral home.
