Funeral services for Mr. John Henry Muse were held Monday at 10 am at Stephens Funeral Home in Union. Rev. Johnny Collins officiated. Burial followed in Union City Cemetery.
Mr. Muse, 57, of Union passed away at his residence after an extended illness. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Union and was managing editor for the Union Appeal for 20 years until his retirement.
He is survived by his mother Annie Pearl Muse; sister Patsy Nicholson; brothers Larry Muse and wife June and Allen Muse along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Muse was preceded in death by his father Henry Muse.
Visitation was held Sunday evening from 5pm to 7pm and one hour prior to the service on Monday at Stephens Funeral Home.
