Donald P. Fryman age 72 left this life to go to the next, Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Wayfair Rehab in Fairfield, IL.
Donald was born January 29, 1943 in Olney, IL. His parents were Earnest Marshall and Alice Bernice (Lawrence) Fryman. He married Carolyn Sue Root June 27, 1965 at the Christian Church in Bone Gap, IL. She preceded him in death August 30, 1999.
Donald worked for Champion Laboratories as a foreman and he also farmed most of his life. He loved helping with 4-H, farming and FFA. He was a member of the Marion Christian Church of West Salem, IL.
He is survived by two daughters; Lesley (Ted) Elder of Olney, IL LaDonna (Randy) Lashbrook of Claremont, IL, three sons; Wesley (Kelly) Fryman of Ellery, IL, Marshall Fryman and girlfriend Lisa Barber of West Salem, IL, Frank Fryman of Olney, IL, one brother; Harold Fryman of Calhoun, IL, grandchildren; Katelyn and Jenna Fryman, Nathan and Jessie Fryman, Haven and Kenzie Fryman, Cassie and Kenneth Casey, Janie Elder, and 1 great-grandchild; Jasper Fryman . Also three step-grandchildren and eleven step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-grandchild. Donald is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by wife; Carolyn Sue, parents; Earnest and Alice Fryman, father-in-law and mother-in-law; Elmo and Ruby Root, brother; Earnest Marshall Fryman, Jr "Junior" and brothers-in-law; Billy "Buck" Root, and Charlie Smith.
Graveside service will be held Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 11:00AM at the Moravian Cemetery in West Salem, IL. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made to the Edwards County 4-H Federation.
Ingram Funeral Home of West Salem, IL entrusted with arrangements.
