This beautiful lady, her daughter and grand daughter came to my house on Cora's 100th birthday. Cora was wanting to visit the home she grew up in and eventually got married in. The house is located on Ghost Holler Road in Pilot Grove, Mo. We owned the house at the time so I gladly took the ladies to see the house. It was an amazing afternoon for me because Cora gave me a lot of history of the 2 story brick home which her father built. I'm sorry to hear of Cora's passing, but I know she had a very full life, because at 100 years of age she was very much in charge of what she wanted to do.

Mrs. Stegner was my second grade teacher at Central. I remember she made us toe the line but was also so sweet and loving to us - as the best teachers are. May she rest in peace.

Cora & Carol - My deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother. I still remember the delicious home made vegetable soup she made for us to eat before a basketball game when I stayed all night at your house while in high school. Also my oldest son had her for a teacher in grade school at Central Elementary School in Boonville. You were so blessed to call her your mother and she will be missed.
