Coleen A. Allred, 82 of Warren passed away at 6:25 am on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Heritage Pointe in Warren. Coleen was a 1950 graduate of West Rock Creek High School. She attended International Business College. She had worked for over 30 years at the State Bank of Markle where she retired. Coleen was a member of the Warren Church of Christ and was a past member of PSI IOTA XI sorority. She had bowled in her younger years and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Coleen was born on September 24, 1932 in Huntington County, a daughter of Garl O. and Mildred M. (Fahl) Sparks.

She was united in marriage to F. Wayne Allred on December 2, 1951 in Huntington. He preceded her in death on June 25, 2013.

Survivors include two daughters: Deborah (Mike) Peek of Harlan; Teresa Hosler of Huntington; a brother: Richard Sparks of Long Beach, CA; two sisters: Phyllis Preston of Twain Harte, CA; Mary Jane (Tim) Adams of Chicago; six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son: Kevin Allred; a brother: William Sparks; brother-in-law: Robert Preston and son-in-law: Joe Hosler.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee Street, Markle, Indiana.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 3:00 pm, following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel with Gerald O. Moreland officiating.

Interment will be at the Markle Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made out to Markle Fish & Game Club in care of Myers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 403, Markle, IN 46770.
